The future of joint and knee pain treatment is here

Many patients are told that knee replacement is their only option.

However, at our clinic, we focus on joint preservation and regenerative therapies, offering proven alternatives before considering surgery.

From £3,900 (single joint).

Using your body’s own fat to promote healing and joint repair.
A market-leading adipose-derived regenerative treatment, Lipogems uses a small amount of your own fat, processed into micro-fragments and injected into the knee.

These fat cells help reduce inflammation, support healing, and promote long-term joint repair. We are among the most experienced providers in the UK, having performed over 2,500 Lipogems procedures and published multiple research papers on its benefits.

From £750 (single joint).

Stimulating tissue regeneration using concentrated growth factors from your blood.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a well-established therapy that uses your body’s natural growth factors to stimulate tissue healing and regeneration. We also offer interosseous PRP, a more advanced technique where PRP is injected directly into the bone, providing enhanced pain relief and joint support.
Interosseous PRP is a deeper, more advanced PRP technique for stubborn joint pain.

From £3,900 for a single joint when added to another procedure, or from £6,500 as a standalone in-patient procedure.

Harvesting stem cells from bone marrow to accelerate healing.
This advanced regenerative treatment harvests stem cells from your own bone marrow, injecting them into the knee to repair damaged cartilage, reduce inflammation, and improve joint function.

From £3,900 (single joint).
A breakthrough injectable that cushions and protects the joint, providing years of pain relief.
Arthrosamid is a next-generation injectable hydrogel that provides a cushioning effect inside the knee joint, reducing pain and inflammation for years with a single injection. It is an excellent option for patients seeking long-term relief without surgery.

From £500.

Hyaluronic acid joint injections are a well-established treatment used to improve joint lubrication and reduce stiffness in people with joint degeneration. Most commonly used in the knee, they are designed to support smoother, more comfortable movement over time.

Rather than targeting inflammation directly, hyaluronic acid injections work by improving the mechanical environment within the joint, helping it move more efficiently and with less friction.

From £400 per joint.

Cortisone, or Steroid (corticosteroid) injections are a well-established treatment used to reduce pain and stiffness caused by inflammation within joints.

Most commonly used in the knee, hip and shoulder, they can provide meaningful symptom relief and support movement, rehabilitation, and treatment planning: without surgery. Corticosteroids work by suppressing inflammatory activity locally, helping to reduce swelling and irritation.

Why choose biological injections over surgery?

  • Avoid surgery & long recovery times – No incisions, no hospital stays, no lengthy rehab.
  • Minimal downtime – Most patients return to normal activity within days.
  • Natural joint healing – Uses your body’s own cells and growth factors to repair damaged tissues.
  • Ideal for early to moderate arthritis – Helps slow progression and maintain joint function.
If surgery isn’t the right choice for you, these cutting-edge treatments offer a powerful alternative.

What is it

An advanced therapy using your own bone marrow, rich in "master" stem cells.

A straightforward injection using concentrated healing factors (platelets) from your own blood.

A method that uses a small amount of your own fat tissue, which contains important repair cells. A synthetic, non-degradable polyacrylamide gel designed to stay in the joint.
How it works Cellular Regeneration: The concentrated stem cells can turn into new cartilage or bone cells to rebuild damaged tissue. Tissue Stimulation: The high concentration of platelets releases growth factors to aggressively trigger and speed up the body's natural repair process. Biological Support: The fat tissue provides a supportive cushion and releases growth factors and cells that help fight inflammation. Joint Volume: It mimics the viscosity of natural fluid, providing both shock-absorbing cushioning and smooth joint gliding.
Best for Moderate to severe Osteoarthritis (OA). Structural bone issues like Avascular Necrosis (AVN) or non-healing fractures. Mild to moderate OA. Chronic tendon or ligament injuries (e.g., Tennis Elbow, Achilles Tendinopathy). Osteoarthritis in joints like the knee and ankle. Soft tissue damage where a structural cushion is beneficial. Symptomatic knee Osteoarthritis (OA) where long-term symptomatic relief is the goal.
Longevity Results can be sustained for a long time, with symptomatic relief reported up to four years. Typically provides pain relief for 6 to 12 months. Effects can last 1–2 years for milder conditions. Clinical improvements are generally sustained for up to 2 years, with best function reported around 9–12 months. Proven to remain safe and effective, with pain reduction maintained up to five years after a single injection.

“I wanted to send a good news update that Prof Wilson and Mr Van Heerwarden might be interested in!

I played in a masters ITF tennis clay court event in Wimbledon last week and won the singles.

This is my first masters ITF since the double osteotomy surgery last year!”

Aldona

Danny, 26 years old, is very active.

He had a long long standing deformity with a significantly knocked knee. His knee cap has been sitting in the wrong position which has caused premature osteoarthritis of the knee cap area.

He underwent arthroscopy and a distal femoral medial closed wedge osteotomy.

The leg is now well aligned after the surgery and had minimum pain post osteotomy.

“Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you so much for operating on Danny last Friday. He is in such good form and surprisingly without pain, hardly so amazing. Genuinely appreciate you and Kristian doing what you do.

Best wishes, John”

Danny

I had three procedures carried out under the care of Professor Wilson in 2022. One was a lateral meniscus repair on my left knee, while the other two were high tibial closing wedge osteotomies on both knees. I could not recommend Professor Wilson and his supporting team highly enough. The quality of care was excellent and the communication both before and after each operation was first class.
