Winston’s Rapid Recovery Hip Replacement Experience
(0:00) You’re already able to walk. I can basically unaided. (0:09) It’s been very good.
I have to say I am much more mobile now than I expected to. (0:15) I was able to swim for the first time. I did 750 metres last Tuesday and I was on my bike.
(0:26) 12 days since my total hip replacement. So I started back on the turbo trainer. (0:37) Went to watch the football two weeks after.
Now this week, so it’s six weeks after my hip (0:46) replacement, walking 10,000, 12,000 steps a day and on my bike and doing climbs, (0:55) which I did before the hip replacement. The key thing for me was to be able to get (0:59) running again. And it was very powerful for me to run.
I haven’t tried running yet.
