I had a total hip replacement with Orthopaedic Innovation on 2nd May 2025 at the age of 49 (hip dysplasia) and could not be happier with the care I received. As a doctor myself, I did my research before deciding on Mr Kley to perform the operation. He has performed a huge number of procedures and his exceptionally low complication rate was a decisive factor for me. The operation went smoothly and I was able to go home the following day with minimal need for assistance following discharge, including climbing the 24 stairs to my bedroom. By day 6, I had ditched the crutches and from the outset only required Paracetamol/Ibuprofen to manage any discomfort. All this was achieved via a tiny 5.5cm scar! The whole experience was far less traumatic than I feared, thanks to Mr Kley and Professor Wilson’s expertise, and I will have no hesitation in choosing them when my other hip eventually needs replacing.
