(0:00) Hi, my name is Oliver Blocker. I’m a hip and knee replacement surgeon. (0:04) I work in the NHS in North Wales and in the independent sector in Cheshire and Birmingham. (0:09) I found out about Kristian and Adrian through B. Braun, the implant company they use. (0:15) I’ve done some limited work with this company. I get on with their representatives well (0:18) and they understand me and know how I like to work and thought I would be a good fit (0:22) and be interested in what Adrian and Kristian are doing.
(0:26) The Rottinger approach to hip replacement is going to be the future. (0:31) The speed and efficiency that you get with this approach and the number of patients treated means (0:37) that the volume of patients you are able to treat will be the right choice for the independent (0:42) sector and the NHS to treat as many patients as possible and get on top of waiting lists.
(0:47) In terms of how to get patients back quicker, I’ve never seen someone doing this quickly. (0:56) The other thing about Adrian and Kristian that really attracts me to them is their good humour, (1:02) their energy and their honest, direct approach with patients and colleagues.
(1:07) And I feel that they provide the ideal standard of care and I really enjoy visiting them. (1:14) And I’m already starting to do the Rottinger approach on patients up in North Wales in the (1:19) next couple of months. I’m very excited about this and I look forward to working (1:23) with Adrian and Kristian in the future.
