Over the past 12 years it’s gradually got worse and worse and worse and it got to a stage where I’ve been unable to walk more than about 50 to 70 metres with pain. It’s really kind of impacted on my life, my job. I used to cycle a lot even got to the stage where I can’t cycle.
Dr. Kley uses the Rottinger approach. I saw it on the internet and because it was minimally invasive, because it was quick recovery afterwards, I thought yeah that’s the way to and that’s the way the hips should be done. I’ve been walking with crutches but I’ve been up to the lung two or three times.
got up, showered myself this morning, got dressed, everything great, feels good. No pain stood here, just a bit, it’s like a pulled muscle if I’m walking. Wow, that’s amazing.
Yeah, this is just about 24 hours after the operation. That’s great isn’t it? Yeah, fantastic.
So what you were expecting in terms of, are you surprised or is just what we said it was going to be in airfield that’s what you expected? No it’s about what I expected because we did the research first and we researched online we saw what Christine Clay had done from the other case studies and that’s what we anticipated and that’s it’s lived up to everything that I thought it would. Perfect.
What struck me about Christian’s operation was that before the operation when he came around he said it’ll not be any longer than 25 minutes, he actually apologised when he came around afterwards because he said he didn’t take 26. And I mean that’s the sort of precision that this guy works on. So it’s day five after the operation, nice day, came out for some fresh air, probably walked about three quarts of a mile by the time we’ve done and got back to the car. It’s been great today, further than I’ve walked away, I stopped being for about a couple of years, so everything going well and yeah, hope you get back in the gym next week.
