Lizzie’s Knee Replacement Surgery Experience
(0:00) Hi, so I just wanted to share my experience, my great experience with Adrian Wilson and his team, (0:07) Kristian Kley as well, fabulous surgeon who’s sorted out my knee.
Yeah, amazing experience (0:13) with you guys. I am post-op five months, pretty much back to normal, walking everywhere, I can (0:20) bike, I can swim, I’ve got no pain in the knee at all.
I have to work a bit with the physio, (0:27) which has been brilliant as well. The thing I would recommend as well as having all the great (0:33) work with these guys is getting yourself a really good physio. But yeah, it’s been epic.
The first (0:39) couple of weeks, well, first month was interesting, but I was walking in within one week, (0:47) which was awesome. Yeah, and each month just got better and better. I’ve got a lovely tidy (0:57) scar.
But yeah, the promise was I think I had the op in September, by Christmas I was dancing (1:03) on the dance floor. So yeah, I would recommend these guys more than anything, they give you a (1:08) wealth of knowledge. I was really put off having the op in the first place, but Adrian sat me down (1:14) and really went through every stage and gave me options of injections that sort of alleviated the (1:21) issues for a bit.
But in the end of the day, I bit the bullet and had the op and it’s the best (1:25) thing I’ve done with these wonderful guys. So yeah, thanks to the team. I’m back to normal, (1:32) running around and being annoying.
