(0:00) Would you say it’s been rapid in terms of how you feel? Are you happy? Yes, yes, yeah, definitely, (0:06) definitely. I was really incapacitated before.
So this is the morning after, how much pain are you in? (0:12) Just stiffness really here, not too much pain. I was walking with two sticks a lot of the time (0:18) and after I’d stood up, after sitting down, I couldn’t walk, put one foot in front of the other (0:24) for half a minute or something like that, 24 hours ago exactly. Look at that, no crutches.
(0:32) What about the stairs? I’ve done the stairs. Any issues? No. Easy peasy.
The recovery has been amazing, (0:42) I can’t believe it, none of my friends can believe it whatsoever. I went to the physio (0:50) on day 14 and she said to me, regardless of your age, I’ve never ever had anybody come to me (0:59) that’s been so good at 14 days. Just after the first week or so, 10 days, I went upstairs and I (1:08) was so surprised that I could just go one, two, three, four, five, six, which I hadn’t been able to do. (1:13) I’ve done an hour and 45 constant walking with my dog in harness.
The scar is probably (1:22) less than three inches. 74 in a week’s time.
