I was Prof Adrian’s fellow from November 2018 to April 2019, and under his tutelage, I was exposed to a wide variety of knee pathologies and learnt the latest in knee preservation techniques from him.
Post fellowship, with the best practices learnt from Prof Adrian, I established “Knee Preservation Osteotomy service” in Singapore General Hospital, where we offer arthritic knee patients knee preservation options, allowing them a choice in retaining their native knees.
In 2023, Prof Adrian shared his expertise at the inaugural Asia – Europe Knee Preservation course in Singapore, benefiting more knee surgeons in the Far East!
I have benefited enormously from Prof Adrian’s excellent tutelage, and on a personal note, we have become good friends over the years!
