Dan’s Osteotomy Surgery
(0:00) Dan had a double level osteotomy under her care. There’s the x-ray. Closing wedge in the femur with a hinge screw.
(0:08) High-tibial osteotomy with a bone wedge. We’re looking at two weeks.
This is the wound. (0:14) So we can see the hinge wire was placed there. This is the high-tibial osteotomy wound. (0:21) This is the femoral osteotomy wound.
If we put that into perspective. (0:26) Dans an extreme runner. Dan, can you lift it up in the air for us? Bend the knee. Excellent. (0:34) How much pain are you in? Very little. 4 out of 10.

(0:41) Been a big deal the last couple of weeks, recovering from your double level? (0:45) It’s been okay. Just been getting through it. Good physio and everything. It’s been steady.
