“I can honestly say I don’t even think about it now, I can’t feel it, can’t feel a thing.”
(0:00) We’re five and a half weeks in and I can honestly say I don’t even think about it now, I can’t feel (0:06) it, can’t feel a thing. Amazing. It is really.
My leg was so stiff I could barely move, my hip was so (0:12) stiff and after the operation I was walking upstairs, the next day I was back in the gym (0:21) within two weeks. So it’s day 15 after my full hip replacement by the Kley Rapid Recovery Method. (0:32) I thought I’d pop out to the shops for a bit, no crutches, no limp, no pain and (0:43) the bandages are off now, there’s a six centimetre scar as promised rather than the six inch that (0:53) you’d have had with a normal replacement.
So really what more can I say? I’m absolutely delighted (1:04) and thanks to Kristian and Adrian for their amazing surgery and that’s it, so (1:15) signing off from sunny Shrewsbury.
No crutches, not from day one, no. Much pain? Actually I tell a lie, on the (1:22) motorway services on the way back home, used them then to go to the toilet. And that was a day after (1:27) surgery? That was the day after surgery but really that was only so we could get in a disabled toilet.
(1:31) I was driving within a couple of weeks anyway, I could probably have driven before but no, the trip (1:36) there we just got some ice packs in the car and a passenger seat and that was it.
And you were about (1:40) to go on a road trip from Chicago to Nashville and you’re playing some hiking. Hiking in the (1:46) Smoky Mountains, yes. It’s been fantastic, start to finish. It did what it said on the tin. Really, thank you so much.
