As a huge fan of kids’ knees, I attended the Kids’ Knees Conference in Sheffield, in 2018. There I met Prof. Wilson, and since he is such an easy-going person, we soon made plans for my future fellowship in his Clinic in London.
Finally, in June 2022, I spent two wonderful weeks with Prof. Wilson. Most of the time, we went through knee cases and were at the OR or outpatient clinic.
Besides discussing kids’ knees, Adrian opened a whole new perspective on knee osteotomy and joint-preserving surgery, for which I am really grateful. However, we found some time for fun and went to ROYAL ASCOT, an amazing event!
Together, my fellowship with Prof. Wilson was a great mixture of business and pleasure so mixed up that I can’t tell the difference.

It was a pleasure to visit yourself and Dr Kristian Kley at the Cromwell Hospital recently.
You have a fantastic practice that combines a friendly personal patient relationship with a super efficient surgical service.
The Rottinger approach to total hip replacement is the best.
Thanks to yourself and Kristian for giving me a new refreshing insight to arthroplasty surgery.
