If you need an x-ray at this stage it is usually a 4 view x-ray costing £500 or an MRI scan if needed is £750.

During the 60 minute consultation Professor Wilson will review your medical condition and discuss the best treatment options for you, including both partial and total knee replacements, as well as looking at non-surgical options. He will also answer any questions you have about knee replacement surgery or any of the other options.
After your initial consultation, if you decide to go ahead with surgery we’ll book you in at the Weymouth Hospital on a day and time suitable to you, and you can pay the balance of the £15,000 total cost depending on which images you have paid for up front. Please note, this must be paid in full 14 days before surgery and before your pre-assessment appointment.
Our Knee Replacement surgery is day case. Many patients go home the same day, but some choose to stay overnight. Most patients stay less than 24 hours before returning home. One nights stay in hospital in a private ensuite room is included in the price.
